The Aggie Women Network has named two Texas A&M former students, Carrie McKee '99 and Stephanie Teetes '94, as its 2026 Legacy Award recipients.
The two will be recognized at the network's annual Awards Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 23, from noon to 2 p.m., according to the organization's website. The luncheon also honors the recipient of the network's Eminent Scholar Award. This year's keynote speaker is Nancy Currie-Gregg, a former NASA astronaut who directs the Texas A&M University Space Institute.
The recipients
McKee earned a business degree in production operations management at A&M and has spent 27 years at PepsiCo, where she is now a senior director overseeing cybersecurity compliance, risk and governance worldwide. She moved into cybersecurity in 2015 after years working on Frito-Lay supply chain systems.
The network's biography notes she is executive sponsor of PepsiCo Shecurity, a group that supports women working in privacy, audit and cybersecurity, and that she has spoken to students at Mays Business School.
Teetes grew up in Cranfills Gap, a Texas town of about 250 people, and arrived at A&M in 1990. She started and ran Underground Support Services, a consulting and construction materials firm that works in heavy civil construction.
The company was a 2022 Aggie 100 honoree and received the 2023 LUNA AEC Firm of the Year Award from the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association, according to her biography. The network says she mentors small business owners and young adults, including through Dallas College and Texas A&M's McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship.
