College Station, Texas — Gas prices in the College Station-Bryan area averaged $3.9226 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 9, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9306 yesterday. That is down from $3.9690 a week ago and higher than $3.7222 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.8511, while the national average is $4.3718. Drivers in the College Station-Bryan area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The College Station-Bryan average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.6896. Regular prices are about 20 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7162, drivers are paying about 121 cents more per gallon.
