College Station sweeps Huntsville to end two-match skid

The Cougars won 3–0 at home on Pink Out night after two road losses. Their next match is Friday at Montgomery.

College Station High School’s girls varsity volleyball team ended a two-match losing streak Tuesday, Oct. 6, with a 3–0 home win over Huntsville.

The Cougars’ official schedule lists the Pink Out match as a final. College Station had dropped its previous two matches on the road, falling 3–0 to A&M Consolidated on Sept. 29 and 3–2 to Lake Creek on Oct. 2.

Tuesday’s result gave the Cougars a second sweep of Huntsville this season. They also won 3–0 at Huntsville on Sept. 11.

College Station’s next scheduled match is Friday, Oct. 9, at Montgomery, with first serve at 6 p.m. Central. Montgomery won the teams’ first meeting 3–1 in College Station on Sept. 15.
