Man arrested after shooting at College Station nightclub

College Station police are investigating a shooting that occurred inside a local nightclub over the weekend. The department confirmed that officers responded to the One15 venue, located in the 100 block of College Main, after reports indicated a shot had been fired from within the establishment on Saturday night, September 5, 2026.

According to police, Northgate officers arrived at the scene and nearby units quickly entered the crowded club to locate the individual responsible. Officers detained the suspect on-site and recovered one firearm from his waistband. A subsequent search revealed a second weapon that had been misplaced inside the venue prior to the discharge of the first shot. Both firearms were collected as evidence.

The suspect has been identified as Trey Wheeler, 19, of Tyler. He faces several charges related to the incident, including deadly conduct for discharging a firearm, disorderly conduct involving a weapon, and multiple counts of unlawful carry of a weapon in prohibited places. Additional charges include public intoxication and failing to identify himself by providing false information.

Police stated that there were no reports of injuries resulting from the shooting. The investigation remains active, and authorities indicated that further details will be released as they become available.
