College Station Parks and Recreation is hosting the third annual Haunted Hike on Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Gary Halter Nature Center. The event is designed for participants ages 13 and older and operates on a come-and-go basis.

The program features guided cryptid hikes, creepy crawlers, crafts, games, and spooky s’mores. Registration is required for the event, and organizers note that space is limited. The admission cost is $15 for residents and $18 for non-residents. This fee includes a souvenir Haunted Hike T-shirt.

Participants are welcome to wear costumes, but closed-toe shoes are required for safety. Additional parking is available at the Lick Creek equestrian entrance off Rock Prairie Road. The event takes place in Lick Creek Park, with activities centered around the nature center facility.

Residents interested in attending should register in advance to secure a spot. The event runs for three hours in the evening, allowing attendees to move between the various stations and activities at their own pace. The inclusion of a T-shirt in the registration fee provides a keepsake for those who participate in the third iteration of this seasonal event.
