Beginning Monday, roadway work will close the south side of the Krenek Tap Road and Dartmouth Street intersection to traffic. The closure is expected to last for about two weeks. Motorists are advised to follow designated detour routes while the work is underway.
Northbound traffic on Dartmouth Street will be rerouted via FM 2818 and Texas Avenue. Southbound traffic on Dartmouth Street will utilize Krenek Tap Road and the State Highway 6 frontage road. Drivers should plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays during the construction period.
