Texas A&M University and ADWEEK are launching ADWEEK at Texas A&M, a year-round media, content, and convening platform. The collaboration aims to connect one of the nation’s largest public research universities with leaders in business, marketing, media, and culture. The partnership will make College Station a recurring destination for ADWEEK editors, producers, executives, and community members.

The initiative extends to major events across Texas, including South by Southwest in Austin, the PGA Championship in Frisco, and Brandweek in Dallas in 2027. R. Ethan Braden, vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at Texas A&M, stated that the partnership allows the university to bring more people and conversations to College Station.

Braden noted that the collaboration is unusual in higher education and provides an opportunity for people to experience the breadth of Texas A&M firsthand.

The partnership builds on a marketing strategy that has included original storytelling and national partnerships with organizations such as IndyCar and NASCAR. In July, American Caldwell ranked Texas A&M No. 6 globally for university visibility, up from No. 21 in 2024, and No. 2 among U.S. public universities. Will Lee, ADWEEK CEO, said that major universities are often narrowly understood despite being widely recognized.

Lee stated that Texas A&M is a compelling place to explore the larger enterprise behind the institution, including discoveries, talent, and research.

Beginning this month, ADWEEK editors and team members will visit College Station to explore the university, meet with faculty, students, and leaders, and identify stories that could shape content and programming. Throughout 2027, ADWEEK will maintain a recurring presence to further develop the platform and its connections with the university community.
