Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said wide receiver Nico Collins and guard Ed Ingram could be available for the Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Both players have missed Houston’s last two games. The matchup is scheduled for noon at Reliant Stadium, according to a Sept. 28, 2026, report from sports.yahoo.com.
Collins, a Pro Bowl selection and three-time 1,000-yard receiver, has been absent as Houston has had difficulty producing outside the numbers. Dalton Schultz has been the main exception. Xavier Hutchinson led the Texans during the past two games with nine receptions totaling 120 yards. In an earlier game against the Buffalo Bills, Collins recorded seven receptions, 75 yards and a touchdown.
Ingram’s absence has put Wyatt Teller at right guard. Houston has produced 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown over the last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who has missed two games with a knee injury, is still considered week-to-week. Houston’s defense had five sacks and caused two fumbles in its most recent game, even with the absences on the edge.
