Contract Details and Funding

The City Council is scheduled to review a construction contract with CSA Construction, Inc. for the Carter Creek WWTP Enhanced Filtration Project during its September 2026 meeting.

The proposed agreement establishes a base contract value of $23,090,000 for project execution.

Contingency Authority

Council approval would establish a total appropriation of $25,399,000 when combined with the City’s contingency amount of $2,309,000.

Passing this item grants the City Manager authority to authorize additional project expenditures up to the designated contingency amount.

Debt Reimbursement Resolution

The agenda includes a resolution declaring the intention to reimburse certain expenditures using proceeds from debt.

This measure aligns with the broader funding strategy for the filtration initiative.
