College Station, Texas — Gas prices in the College Station-Bryan area averaged $3.6046 per gallon for regular unleaded on August 9, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.6182 yesterday. That is down from $3.6694 a week ago and higher than $3.4369 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.5569, while the national average is $4.0121. Drivers in the College Station-Bryan area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The College Station-Bryan average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.6896. Regular prices are about 17 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7229, drivers are paying about 88 cents more per gallon.
