College Station, Texas — Gas prices in the College Station-Bryan area averaged $3.9690 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 2, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9700 yesterday. That is down from $3.9939 a week ago and higher than $3.6371 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.9397, while the national average is $4.3961. Drivers in the College Station-Bryan area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The College Station-Bryan average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.6896. Regular prices are about 33 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7274, drivers are paying about 124 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the College Station-Bryan area averages $5.9105 per gallon, AAA reported.
