College Station, Texas — Gas prices in the College Station-Bryan area averaged $3.9603 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 4, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9607 yesterday. That is down from $3.9995 a week ago and higher than $3.6601 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.9149, while the national average is $4.3697. Drivers in the College Station-Bryan area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The College Station-Bryan average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.6896. Regular prices are about 30 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7237, drivers are paying about 124 cents more per gallon.
