The Kansas City Royals secured a 5-2 victory over the Houston Astros on Thursday, driven by significant offensive production in the middle innings. The game’s pivotal moments arrived when Rave and Massey combined for two of Kansas City's five runs, establishing an early lead that Houston could not overcome.
In the fourth inning, Rave launched a 366-foot home run to right field. The blast cleared the bases, allowing Massey to score from first base. This two-run play gave the Royals a 2-0 advantage and shifted the momentum of the contest in favor of the visiting team.
