Haraz Coffee has opened a new specialty coffee shop at 2711 Texas Ave. S., Suite 400, in College Station. The location officially began operations on Sept. 16 and is the brand's first establishment situated near the Texas A&M University campus. The shop operates seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The new facility employs 18 staff members and provides seating for 70 guests both indoors and outdoors. The space is designed to accommodate both quick visits and extended stays, with a focus on serving students and local residents. Ali Kareem, the owner of the College Station location, stated that the shop was built to feel like a home for the community.
"As a College Station local, I have watched this community grow, and I wanted to build a coffee shop that gives students and neighbors alike a place that feels like home," Kareem said. He noted that the location includes numerous power outlets for laptops and phones to support student needs.
The menu features a wide range of specialty coffee and espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, cold brew, and frappes. It also offers ceremonial matcha, iced refreshers, teas, smoothies, pastries, and desserts. Traditional beverages such as Adeni chai and Sana'ani-style coffee are also available.
The brand describes its approach as blending hospitality traditions with modern cafe design to create a welcoming space for gathering and community building.
