The College Station Cougars have been named the inaugural recipients of the KBTX Sports Sunday Game Ball. The award is sponsored by Central Texas Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
The selection followed the Cougars' victory over their rival, A&M Consolidated. The final score of the matchup was 45-27 in favor of College Station.
With this win, the Cougars improved their overall season record to 4-1. Their district standing also improved to 2-1.
KBTX News 3 recognized the team for this performance, marking the first time the specific Game Ball award has been presented.
