Sprouts Farmers Market opened a new retail location in College Station on September 25, 2026. The store is situated at 1913 Texas Ave. S. A ribbon-cutting event was scheduled for 6:45 a.m., with store doors opening to the public at 7 a.m. that same day.
The company describes itself as a specialty retailer focused on fresh, natural, and organic food products. The new location offers a range of items, including produce sourced from local and regional farmers, various protein options such as grass-fed beef and sustainably sourced seafood, and a bulk department containing coffee, nuts, and grains.
The store also features a deli section with sandwiches and prepared meals, as well as a wellness section with over 7,000 vitamins and supplements.
Grand opening weekend activities ran from September 25 through September 27. The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday received a free reusable tote. Additionally, the first 400 guests on Friday received a long-stem rose provided by Falcon Farms Floral. Shoppers inside the store had the opportunity to sample various products.
Customers who signed up for the Sprouts Rewards program during the grand opening weekend were eligible for a 20% discount on their purchases. This offer was available in-store or online using the promo code SGO20. The rewards program allows members to earn points on purchases and access exclusive offers.
