Nate Bennett will make his second consecutive start for Baylor when the Bears play Louisiana Tech on Saturday. The quarterback passed for 314 yards and accounted for four touchdowns against Prairie View A&M, although he also threw two interceptions.
DJ Lagway will miss the game because of an ankle injury. The transfer from Florida suffered the injury in Baylor’s season-opening loss to Auburn and also sat out last week’s game against Prairie View A&M after being listed as doubtful for the Louisiana Tech matchup.
Louisiana Tech will also use a different quarterback. Blake Baker, the Bulldogs’ starter, is unavailable with a hand injury, and Trey Kukuk will take the opening assignment. ESPN.com reported the quarterback updates.
