Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway’s 333-yard performance in the season opener against Auburn may be followed by an absence in Week 2. Lagway sustained an ankle injury during the game, and he is expected to miss Baylor’s matchup with Prairie View A&M.
His status has not been fully settled. College football insider Pete Thamel reported that Lagway’s availability remains uncertain, including whether he will be in uniform for the game.
The injury came after Lagway produced 333 yards against Auburn in Baylor’s season opener. The Bears are scheduled to face Prairie View A&M in Week 2, with uncertainty continuing around whether Lagway will be able to participate.
