Six Texans did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Five were absent because of injuries, while tight end Dalton Schultz received a rest day.
Offensive tackle Trent Brown was listed with knee and wrist issues. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney had a knee injury, wide receiver Nico Collins was out with a hamstring issue, and linebacker Jake Hummel and offensive guard Ed Ingram each had groin injuries. Collins injured the hamstring during practice last week and missed Houston’s Week 2 loss to the Bengals.
No additional information was provided about the other injuries.
Three defensive players were limited. Will Anderson Jr. was given a rest designation, while Logan Hall and M.J. Stewart were limited because of knee injuries.
