Ryan Flournoy is set to remain with the Dallas Cowboys through the 2027 season under a reported one-year, $6 million extension. The agreement is expected to be signed this week, before Dallas opens its regular season against the New York Giants.
The wide receiver was a sixth-round pick by Dallas in 2024. The new contract eliminates a potential restricted-free-agent season after 2026 and gives the Cowboys another year of control. Flournoy is coming off a 2025 campaign the team called a breakout season, with the extension providing additional seasons for his development in 2026 and 2027. A longer deal could still be possible later.
Dallas waived Flournoy during its first roster reductions of 2025, but he went unclaimed and eventually rejoined the organization on its practice squad. That agreement replaced his initial four-year rookie contract, leaving him with three years on the new deal and a possible restricted-free-agent season afterward. Dallas has also reached a three-year extension agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
