Henry To’oTo’o is expected to be sidelined for a period after suffering a shoulder injury in the Houston Texans’ 36-31 defeat against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Coach DeMeco Ryans disclosed the injury update on Sept. 14.

To’oTo’o departed in the fourth quarter, with the game still undecided, and did not return. He made two tackles before leaving. The linebacker totaled 95 tackles during the 2025 season after surpassing 100 in 2024.

The injury leaves the Texans with additional questions at linebacker. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap wrote on X that the development appeared unsurprising after To’oTo’o was seen wearing a sling. Garret Williams, who posts as Houston Stressans, identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as potential choices, though Hansen was also injured during the game.

No further information about To’oTo’o’s injury was released. The report is based on information from heavy.com.
