The Dallas Cowboys will have four defensive players unavailable Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil: linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, safeties P.J. Locke and Malik Hooker, and cornerback Cobie Durant. All four missed every practice during the week and did not make the trip.
Three are starters, while Locke is Dallas’ third safety and a key reserve. Baltimore’s offense includes quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry.
Overshown and Hooker could be options for Dallas’ Week 4 matchup at the Houston Texans, team executive vice president Stephen Jones said. Overshown has a hamstring strain, and Hooker is recovering from a fractured forearm. Both injuries happened in the season opener against the Giants, and both missed the Cowboys’ Week 2 win over Washington. Overshown handles the defense’s signals.
Neither player has been cleared, and the source did not indicate that either is likely to return. Durant, who has a hamstring injury, and Locke, who has a foot injury, are not expected to be available against Houston. Dallas finished 2025 in the bottom three in total defense and currently ranks 29th of 32 teams after two games this season.
