Jordan Dwyer could rejoin TCU after missing the Horned Frogs’ first three games of the 2026 season. Coach Sonny Dykes said the wide receiver is expected to play when TCU opens Big 12 competition against UCF on Sept. 26, though his availability remains unconfirmed beyond that update.
Dwyer transferred to TCU from Idaho and played a major role in the offense last season. He started every regular-season game in 2025, recording 54 receptions, 730 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. His first game for the Horned Frogs included nine catches for 136 yards and a touchdown against North Carolina.
Other receivers have filled larger roles while Dwyer has been sidelined. Ed Small has emerged as one of TCU’s leading pass catchers, while tight end Kari Ashley contributed in the 31-7 victory over Arkansas State. Their production has provided quarterback Jaden Craig with multiple options during the opening games.
TCU is 2-1 heading into conference play. Dykes said Dwyer’s return would give the team a lift.
