Houston linebacker Henry To'oTo'o is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury suffered in the Texans' 36-31 loss to Buffalo, coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday. The team has not decided whether to place the starter on injured reserve.
To'oTo'o was injured with 2:34 left in the fourth quarter while taking down Bills tight end Dawson Knox. He required assistance to get up, went to the sideline and did not return. Houston drafted him in the fifth round in 2023, and he signed a two-year, $16 million extension in August.
Buffalo's 36 points marked the second-largest total Houston has surrendered during Ryans' tenure. The Texans allowed 37 points to Tampa Bay in 2023, and they had not given up more than 30 since Baltimore scored 31 on Christmas in 2024. Houston's next three games are home against Cincinnati, at Indianapolis and home against Dallas.
All three opponents finished last season among the NFL's 12 highest-scoring offenses. ESPN reported the injury update.
