Collins sustained a hamstring injury during Houston's Wednesday practice, according to a report from SI.com that cited ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Texans do not consider the injury serious, the report said, though Collins' status for the game is still uncertain. Houston may also exercise caution because Collins previously missed time with a Grade 2 hamstring strain in 2024 that led to injured reserve.
Schultz led the Texans in receptions in 2025, with 82 catches totaling 777 yards. If Collins cannot play, the team's distribution of receiving opportunities could change and create additional targets for Schultz.
