The victory improved the Rangers' record to 71-73, while the Rays fell to 85-58. The game featured strong offensive performances from both sides, with the home team ultimately capitalizing on late-inning scoring to secure the win.

Early Rays Lead

The Rays took control of the game in the second inning, scoring four runs to build a 4-0 lead. Mesa Jr. singled to left, allowing Simpson to score and Mateo to reach third. Fortes followed with a bunt single to the pitcher, driving in Mateo and moving Mesa Jr. to second.
