Texas Tech Red Raiders traveled to Corvallis and secured a 35-24 victory over the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The win improved the Red Raiders' record to 2-0, while the home Beavers fell to 0-2. The contest was defined by a strong offensive performance from both sides, but Texas Tech’s ability to execute in the fourth quarter proved decisive.

Oregon State took a 7-0 lead after Thomas Castellanos rushed for a seven-yard touchdown, followed by a Stone Harrington kick. However, Atkinson found Legree again for a 37-yard touchdown, and Atkinson’s own two-point run tied the game at 21-21 heading into the final frame.
