Two race cars that wore Texas A&M's branding during the 2026 motorsports season are coming to campus next week, the university announced Thursday.

The cars will be parked in the Aggie Fan Zone ahead of the Nov. 14 Tennessee game at Kyle Field, beginning 3 1/2 hours ahead of kickoff. Visitors can also see the drivers' racing suits and pick up free posters and postcards marking the occasion, plus a small supply of hats and other racing souvenirs, according to Texas A&M's Division of Marketing and Communications.

The two cars

  • No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda: Felix Rosenqvist drove it in the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, an IndyCar race in Washington, D.C. Rosenqvist also won this year's Indianapolis 500 with the university's logo on his car, helmet and suit, in what A&M describes as the tightest finish the race has ever had.
  • No. 41 Haas Factory Team Chevrolet Camaro: Cole Custer drove it in NASCAR's first race at Naval Base Coronado. Its paint scheme honored former President George H.W. Bush as the Navy marked 250 years, and the design was picked for the NASCAR 26 video game.

The Bush car gets an extra stop. It will sit in front of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.

Replicas and the scholarship

Die-cast models in the 2026 paint schemes can be pre-ordered both in the Fan Zone and from the 12th Man Shop, and the Bush Library and Store will also take pre-orders on its website, with part of the proceeds going to the President George H.W. Bush Memorial Scholarship, the university said.

University marketing chief Ethan Braden said the racing partnerships have introduced Texas A&M to millions of Americans. "These partnerships are about more than racing," he said in the announcement.

The university said it plans to keep racing in 2027. Its title for the Fan Zone display is "Fueling a Force for Good: Honoring Service. Celebrating Freedom."
