Vangie Kolesar, who has worked at Texas A&M University-Victoria for 26 years, continues to be a vital resource in the university's Finance department. She began her career at the university in the Information Technology department, specifically at the Help Desk, before transitioning to finance nearly two decades ago.
Kolesar graduated from A&M-Victoria in 2005 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in computer information systems, following an Associate in Science from Victoria College in 2002. Her commitment to learning and helping others is evident in her role as accounting services coordinator, where she assists colleagues with financial data, budgets, and expenses.

Throughout her career, Kolesar has undergone significant training, including attending the College of Business Management Institute in Kentucky to enhance her accounting knowledge. This training has been crucial as the university transitioned to The Texas A&M University System, requiring her to adapt to new software systems and compliance regulations.
