Gibson, a transfer from Tennessee, has made a significant impact since joining the Aggies. The Trussville, Alabama native previously played in 26 games for the Volunteers, starting 13 of them. He recorded 42 tackles and six pass breakups during his time at Tennessee, showcasing his skills in tackling and pass defense.
In practice, Gibson has demonstrated quickness and strong decision-making, impressing both coaches and teammates. His teammate, Jordan Shaw, highlighted Gibson's standout performance during camp, mentioning that he consistently made interceptions. Shaw also noted that the entire secondary, including Humphrey, has been performing well.
