Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott did not take any snaps during the preseason, which consisted of three games. Since 2020, he has relied on wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and the signing of George Pickens in the 2025 offseason has enhanced his receiving lineup.

Last season, Prescott recorded the second-highest passing yard total of his career, with 4,552 yards and 30 touchdown passes from 600 attempts. The Cowboys are looking to establish a more balanced offensive strategy this year, which may lead to fewer touchdown passes for Prescott. Furthermore, a new defensive approach under coordinator Christian Parker could help the offense avoid frequent catch-up scenarios.

With Lamb and Pickens as his primary targets, Prescott has the opportunity to match or surpass 4,000 passing yards in the upcoming 2026 season.
