As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for the start of the 2026 NFL season, they are mostly in good health, but two players are currently managing injuries. College Station fans may be particularly interested in how these developments affect the team’s performance.

Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is dealing with an abs/groin injury. Reports indicate he participated in rehabilitation activities on September 1, suggesting he might be available for the season opener, although he may require more time for full recovery.

Guard Ajani Cornelius, who has shown potential during training camp, is also on the mend. He was absent from practice on September 2 but was seen engaging in rehab work the day before, pointing to a possible return for Week 1, contingent on his recovery progress.

Additionally, the Cowboys have put linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore on injured reserve. Liufau is recovering from a fractured forearm that necessitated surgery, while Moore is coping with a hip injury following prior groin issues during training camp. Both players will be unavailable for at least the first month of the season.

Updates on Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week unfolds, while Liufau and Moore's statuses remain uncertain for the early part of the season.
