The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, concluding practices that began on July 29. The final session drew fans and followed a series of practices, including a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is preparing to meet the New Orleans Saints in their last preseason game before they finalize their 53-man roster for the regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb made a significant impact during the last practice, showing off his skills after limited participation in earlier sessions due to the absence of starters. Lamb had multiple connections with quarterback Dak Prescott, including a touchdown reception over cornerback Cobie Durant. He also executed an impressive one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
Cornerback Cobie Durant encountered difficulties during practice, conceding two touchdowns—one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Nevertheless, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout the training camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also left a strong impression, starting on defense and demonstrating his aggressiveness.
He pressured Prescott during a blitz, which would have resulted in a sack in a game situation. Barham's performance has shown steady improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys look ahead to their final preseason matchup, they remain optimistic about their offensive potential and overall performance heading into the regular season.
