Dalton Schultz, the tight end for the Houston Texans, did not take the field in any of the team's three preseason matchups. Coming off a productive 2025 regular season, Schultz recorded a career-high 82 receptions and 777 receiving yards, his strongest showing since he amassed 808 yards in the 2021 season with the Cowboys.
With Jayden Higgins out for the entire 2026 season because of a knee injury and Tank Dell starting the season on injured reserve, Schultz and Collins are anticipated to be primary targets for Stroud as the season progresses.
