The Houston Texans have completed their 53-man roster, featuring undrafted rookie defensive end Sabastian Harsh. Initially considered a long shot to make the team, Harsh's impressive performances during the preseason ultimately earned him a place.

Harsh shared his feelings of anxiety leading up to the roster announcement, recalling in a Texans radio interview his conversations with family while awaiting the news. He expressed his excitement upon seeing his name on the list, stating, "Oh my gosh. Like, that is pretty cool, man."

After missing the first preseason game due to injury, Harsh made a significant impact in the second game against the Carolina Panthers, where he recorded three tackles, one sack, two quarterback hits, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup. Head coach DeMeco Ryans noted Harsh's contributions in both pass rushing and run defense as key factors in his selection.

Despite this achievement, Harsh remains committed to improvement, emphasizing that he still has much work ahead. As the regular season nears, he will have the opportunity to learn from experienced edge rushers Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, with many watching to see how he will influence the Texans' defense in the upcoming season.
