The Houston Texans have announced that offensive lineman Sam Hagen has been placed on injured reserve. This decision was reported by Greg Auman of Fox Sports. Hagen, a rookie undrafted free agent from South Dakota State, has an undisclosed injury.

At 6 feet 6 inches and 320 pounds, Hagen made a strong impression during training camp, which secured him a spot on the active roster. Being on injured reserve means he must spend at least four games away from the team, but he could return later in the 2026 season. Further information about the specifics of his injury has not been disclosed.
