The Brazos Valley is experiencing heightened fire danger as worsening drought conditions persist. With minimal rainfall forecasted, grass and other vegetation have become extremely dry, raising concerns about potential fire outbreaks.
Currently, 12 counties in the region are under a burn ban due to these conditions. Chris Lamb, Public Information Officer for the Bryan Fire Department, emphasized the importance of being cautious, regardless of the burn ban status.
