Early Lead Fades Quickly
Seattle set the tone early in the first quarter. Drew Lock connected with Montorie Foster Jr. for a five-yard touchdown pass, giving the Seahawks a 7-0 lead. Jason Myers’ extra point made it 7-0.
However, the Cowboys responded swiftly in the second quarter. Brandon Aubrey kicked a 29-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 7-3. The momentum shifted decisively when Sam Howell found Camden Brown for a 39-yard touchdown pass, with Aubrey adding the kick to make it 10-7 in favor of Dallas.
Third Quarter Seals Victory
The decisive blow came in the third quarter. Joe Milton III connected with Camden Brown again, this time for a two-yard touchdown pass. The play extended Dallas’s lead to 17-7, and the Seahawks were unable to score in the final two quarters. The Cowboys finished the game with a 17-7 margin, securing their first win of the season.
Key Performances
Camden Brown was the standout performer for Dallas, recording three receptions for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Joe Milton III completed 12 of 15 passes for 107 yards and one touchdown, while Malik Davis rushed for 39 yards on seven carries. For Seattle, Drew Lock completed nine of 13 passes for 40 yards and one touchdown.
George Holani led the Seahawks in rushing with 42 yards on 12 carries, and Montorie Foster Jr. had five receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown. The Cowboys’ efficient execution in the second and third quarters proved to be the difference in a tight contest.
