As the Baylor Bears prepare for their season opener, the offensive line is experiencing notable changes, with just one returning full-time starter, Kaden Sieracki, at right tackle. The situation has been complicated by the exit of Yakiri Walker, a Memphis transfer who was anticipated to take the center position but is now serving as a coach after his injunction was denied.

In the wake of Walker's departure, Koltin Sieracki has emerged as a strong candidate for the center role. Offensive line coach Austin Woods mentioned that Koltin has been taking on substantial reps throughout the summer and is likely to start against Auburn. Woods commended Sieracki's ability to lead and communicate effectively, emphasizing his high-level performance.

Koltin Sieracki, weighing 317 pounds and standing 6'4", played as the sixth lineman last season and has started three games at both right guard and center. Although he was initially slated to play guard this year, he has redirected his focus to center, a position he enjoys. "I actually prefer center," Sieracki stated, highlighting his comfort and the physical nature of the role.

The offensive line configuration continues to evolve, with Texas transfer Nate Kibble and South Alabama transfer Asher Hale reportedly playing alongside Sieracki at guard. UAB transfer Logan Moore has been assigned to left tackle, while Toledo transfer Cole Rhett is being utilized in multiple positions, suggesting he may be in contention for a starting role or could take on Sieracki's previous sixth lineman position.

Woods noted the steady improvement of Rhett and Hale as they gain experience during fall camp, with the final offensive line lineup still being finalized ahead of the matchup against Auburn.
