Luke Murphy entered in the ninth inning but struggled, surrendering two earned runs in just one-third of an inning before being pulled.

The outcome was decided in the 10th inning. With the score still tied, Nimmo singled to right field, allowing Lopez to score and give Texas a 2-1 lead. Nimmo advanced to second, setting the stage for Burger, who delivered a two-run single to right field.
